Since moving to Nashville in 2018 from Anacortes Washington, 26 year old singer/songwriter Joey Hendricks’ songs have been cut by Lady A, Chayce Beckham, VAVO, Dillon Carmichael, Nate Smith, Avenue Beat & Eric Ethridge, landing him a deal with daschent & Warner Chappell Music, respectively. Hendricks, whose indie, americana-adjacent catalog of candid, thought provoking songs surrounding love, loss, addiction and familial struggles, recently celebrated four cuts on Nate Smith’s highly anticipated album and continues to craft music with fellow songwriters Lori McKenna, Aaron Ratierre, Alysa Vanderheym, Luke Laird, Micky Ekko, Jason Nix, Daniel Ross, Barry Dean, Dan Layus, Austin Niveral, Jeff Trott, Andy Skib, Cameron Bedell, Jordan Fletcher while releasing music throughout 2024 for himself along with his new project, verygently, who are currently on tour opening for Augustana.
